Do you think it’s hard for Amy Lee of Evanescence to completely ignore that all those angsty songs she’s singing are about her?
John Mayer’s “Waiting on the World to Change” is the most disempowering political anthem in the history of the world. Let’s just feel morally superior while we sit around with our thumbs up our asses, shall we?
One day, radio will die and Pandora will rule the earth.

Thankyou for the link to Pandora. It is now ruling my section of earth, at least.

Amen Katherine. The most watered down “protest” song I’ve heard on pop radio in a long time. Mayer writes great music columns, plays flawlessly clinical guitar, all enshrouded in his too clever by half smirk but he’s no pop protest prophet… or is he? Maybe that’s exactly what most of the young people he knows ARE doing. simply waiting

I know this comment i like 10 days late but I am only reading this now. I just wanted to add that I wish James Blunt would find a blunt object with which to off John Mayer and then do away with himself.
