20 minutes is not too far to drive for someone who will cook you dinner. Jesus, you people act like I moved to fucking South Dakota.

I can sympathize. I drove to Asheville, must be, twenty times at least, from Winston Salem to visit people that insisted upon seeing me, yet would never drive the two hours east, in return. I love my friends in Asheville, but I was always the one to drive anywhere to socialize. I’ve only done the 20 shows since I’ve moved here…never mind the smash-hit adaptation that’s traveled to Chicago and will go to Tokyo next fall. I make good theater, too, that’s just as worth traveling for.
