I lost my camera somewhere in my car, so you’ll just have to take my word for things this week. Last week, D’oh finished demo while I went to do web design. He also ripped out his back while moving the tub, but that was his own fault and I’ve already yelled at him for it. So we were left with an empty room, vaguely L-shaped. He also capped the toilet and sink water lines in the basement so that I could proceed to this week’s project: fixing the water damaged sub floor!

I actually have two sub floors, because why replace the linoleum when you can just build on top of it? Luckily, the icky linoleum protected the bottom sub floor, so I am merely ripping out the top sub floor in the damaged areas and filling in the holes with plywood to make everything flush. I’ll need to add a layer of Luoun to the plywood, since the plywood is 3/4″ and the floor boards are 7/8″. And then another layer of luoun goes on top, to make everything all nice and neat, and then the tile! Well, first the latex primer, but then the tile!

I swear I’ll have way more interesting things to talk about one day. I’m going to Hendersonville to see Girlyman tonight! Yay! Queer bluegrass!
