I don’t remember any kissing happening in Prince Caspian (the book), though the movie was pretty tame all in all.
What’s the point of all those battle scenes if you don’t get to see even one severed head?
I actually liked this one more than The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, because it seemed like the actors had more going on under the surface, more emotion to work with. I agree with Slate’s spoiler special that Jadis’s minor appearance held more menace than all 10 regiments of the Telmar army.
Lucy’s storyline was still treacle, and I hope she can act by the time we get to the Dawn Treader, but Peter, Susan and Edmund were all excellent.
At the end, I was crying a little and caught up in it all. Why couldn’t this crew have been in charge of The Golden Compass?
