So tomorrow is a shopping day. I’m going to attempt to buy everything I could possibly need to fix my bathroom in one trip so that I can use one of those 10% off coupons. My plumber is el cheapo, while still being awesome, so I’m buying all the cosmetic stuff to get what I want and he’s getting the rest at the el cheapo plumbing wholesaler. The only thing I can’t get is the drywall, which won’t fit into my car, since we’ve already established that the width of the hatch is 3″ less than 4 feet. Three inches! Toyota!

So the “work” portion of my day will consist of going to Lowe’s and that awesome liquidator place on Deaverview. The “play” portion of my day will consist of preliminary work for staking the tomatoes (cutting the stakes) and attempting to get my peas to climb their damn netting. Peas! All my peas got the short end of the climbing Punnett square.

Also, if I got beets in my CSA, should I pick my beets? They’ve been in the ground for 67 days, and this site says the answer is yes. Beets! Foxy isn’t a fan but I am going to rock out my chioggas Harvard style.
